Nestled along the Silver Thread Highway, Creede, Colorado awaits to be explored. Known for its Silver mining in the Boom Days makes Creede overflow with history that is embraced and celebrated to this day.
Along the historic Main Street sits the old fire house dating back to 1892. Throughout the buildings long history, it was eventually remodeled into TrueValue, Spare Keg Brewerks, and the Aspen Inn. The Aspen Inn is located on the second floor of the building above the Spare Keg. We invite you to stay in one of our four rooms in our boutique hotel. Each room is decorated after one of Colorado's colorful seasons featuring a private bath, lounging area, and luxurious bed. Our mission is to create a warm and inviting experience, whether you are exploring the vast outdoors or on a relaxing get away, we hope to be your home away from home.
So take a look... We hope to be seeing you soon.
" 'Is the spring coming' he said, 'what's it like...' 'It's the sun shining on the rain and the rain falling on the sunshine...' " F.H. Burnett.
"Autumn that year painted the countryside in vivid shades of scarlet, saffron, and russet, and the days were crisp under harvest skies." S.K. Penman
"I drifted into a summer-nap under the hot shade of July, serenaded by a cicadae lullaby, to drowsy-warm dreams of distant thunder." T. Guillemets
"The air is blue and keen and cold, With snow the roads and fields are white But here the forest's clothed with light And in a shining sheath enrolled. Each branch, each twig, each blade of grass, Seems clad miraculously with glass: Above the ice-bound streamlet bends Each frozen fern with crystal ends." - A Crystal Forest, W. Sharp
